This page is dedicated to the great people and organizations who have been instrumental in our journey as we put together this site. Below are a few of those people/organizations. Stay tuned as we continue to add to this list.
When I started this journey I didn't know the difference between a webpage and a blog. Fortunately for me one of the first resources I found was ‘The Blog Builders’ by Court Tuttle. Court’s 'Complete Walkthrough' is exactly that. He takes you through all the steps from how to get started, to marketing your blog and how to make money. What has been even more valuable has been the great advice he has passed along in response to all of my emails. Thank you Court. Visit Court at www.theblogbuilders.com
To get your blog or webpage onto the World Wide Web you will need a web hosting service. There are hundreds maybe thousands of web hosting services out there and not all of them are good. Again I was fortunate to find ‘Research As A Hobby’ by Michael Bely. Michael’s research and comprehensive analysis along with his indepth response to my emails helped me find the web hosting service that is perfect for me. Thank you Michael. We didn’t want to rely on web developers to create and maintain our site. We need to have more hands on control of our site so we decided to use WordPress because there's a lot of help and tutorials available. The video tutorials on ‘WP Learning Lab’ by Bjorn Allpas are well done. They are clear and easy to follow. Still have questions? Bjorn is just an email away. Thank you Bjorn.
